‘Tis the season! 🐢❤️🐢 Sea turtle mating is an aquatic dance at the surface where males court a single female. Males may nuzzle a female’s head or gently bite the back of her neck and rear flippers. If a female does not flee, the male attaches himself to the back of the female’s shell with claws in his front flippers, he then folds his long tail under her shell to copulate.
