What is a Handpan (and why they don't want you to call it a Hang Drum)?

Huge shoutout to the creators of @neotone.digitalhandpan!!!For quite a while I was dreaming of having a set of really low handpans just to play as bass notes to complete my chromatic set of handpans in the low register. Though makers have come up with crazy instruments, getting this set seemed nearly impossible.
